Lower Mainland Motocross Club would like to invite all to a workparty at the
Mission track on Saturday, Feb10th, 9am till ??? to get things ready for the
season starting March 3rd and 4th. The track has been redesigned for 2007
and needs a bit of tweaking.

Project 1) We would like to expand the signup tower on the lower floor. We
would like to enclose the current porch, and build a new porch facing the
bike wash. If we have any framers with tools willng to take the lead on this
project, please call Hans Wegener 778 549-0920, materials will be supplied.

Project 2) We need to construct a taller fence along the spectator area,
(finish line table). I am guessing about 200ft long, 6' to 8' tall, to
prohidit spectators (parents) from jumping the fence and entering the track.
Any fencing people interested in taking the lead on this project, or know of
a "mx deal" on fencing materials, please call Hans Wegener 778 549-0920

Project 3) We would like to freshen up the gates and get full lift from end
to end again. It will most likely require all gates replaced and set so that
they will flip over backwards, I do not think we need anything re-welded,
but if you are a welder and are willing to help? We do not have welding
equipment, but we do have a pipe bender and will supply the pipe. Anyone
willing to take the lead, call Hans

General help will be needed for cleanup of branches, picking rocks from the
track and replacing Flagger platforms on jumps. Email Hans if you can help.
hwegener@msn.com Put "workparty" in the subject line so that I do not miss
it.

Please do not bring any bikes, our arrangement with the car club will not
allow any of us to ride after the work is done.

Thanks

Hans Wegener, LMMC Vice-President
